This is the recipe that comes with the Original AeroPress. It doesn't require scales, but we recommend you use them if you own one.
To measure out the coffee you can use the scoop that comes with the AeroPress, or around 15g of coffee if you have scales.

Recipe Preparation
- Coffee
- 15g
- Medium Fine grind
- Medium roast
- Water
- 250g
- 85°C / 185°F

- AeroPress
- AeroPress Micro-Filters
- AeroPress Coffee Stirrer
- Kettle
- Mug
- Disassemble your AeroPress.
- Place a paper filter into the cap and lock it back on to the chamber.
- Stand the brewer onto a cup/mug.
- Place 1 scoop (
15g) of medium fine coffee into chamber. - Once the water is ready, start the timer.
Steps
1. Pour
Pour up to the 4 mark on the chamber.
2. Stir
Stir the coffee gently with the stirrer.
3. Place Plunger
Place the plunger

Push down gently on the plunger using the natural weight of your hands and arms without force, until you hear the hissing sound. This should last around
30 seconds.
