This is the original AeroPress recipe by Alan Adler, the inventor of the world famous brewer. A simple, efficient method designed to make espresso-like coffee at home.
Alan Adler invented the AeroPress to brew coffee that was fast, clean, and less bitter than drip or French press. His original recipe focuses on simplicity and consistency. A clear method everyone could follow.
For this recipe, he recommends a grind between espresso and drip, using water at around 80 °C / 176 °F.
The process involves a brief stir followed by a gentle press, producing a smooth, concentrated brew that can be diluted or enjoyed as is.
